Julie Frenette, C.N.M., F.N.P., M.S.N.
Julie earned her Master of Science in Nursing, from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2005, specializing in Family Practice. In 2009 she completed a Post Master’s Certificate in Nurse Midwifery at the University of Utah. Originally from Northern New Hampshire, Julie spent 10 years living in Salt Lake City, skiing, enjoying the mountains, and catching babies. She learned to trust the natural progression of labor and birth while completing a midwifery fellowship at Holy Family Birth Center in Texas and spending six months as a volunteer midwife with Partners in Health in the rural mountains of Lesotho in Southern Africa. Most recently, Julie worked for four years in a small private OBGYN practice at a community hospital in Salt Lake City.
Her measured preventative approach to health care allows for a focus on wellness, the patient and the family. Julie is excited to be back in her home state and feels fortunate to be able to practice with the excellent providers of Dover Women's Health. Besides skiing, Julie enjoys mountain biking, music and globetrotting.
