Jeffrey Segil, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., M.S.
Dr. Segil is a graduate of the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his post-graduate training at University Hospitals of Cleveland where he was Executive Chief Resident. During his training Dr Segil focused on OB as well as advanced gynecologic surgery and the management of incontinence. While in training he was also the director of the Lake and Ashtabula Counties Family Planning Clinics of Ohio. Prior to Medical School Dr. Segil spent four years at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School, where he was involved in molecular biology research in the field of tumor immunology. He completed his undergraduate education at Hampshire College in Amherst Massachusetts, where he concentrated in healthcare delivery systems. Dr. Segil completed his American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology certification in 1999, and was elected to Fellowship in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2000. He is a member of the Strafford County Medical Society, the New Hampshire Medical Society, the American Association of Gynecologic Laproscopists, the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine, the American Urogynecologic Society, and the Northeast Medical Association. Dr. Segil has been specializing in advanced incontinence surgeries and Robotic surgeries, as well as Pelvic Reconstruction. Dr Segil has spent much time in Mind Body Medicine Training and tries to incorporate his teachings into his daily medical practice. Dr. Segil has been on staff at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital since 1997. He is currently the director of the Continuing Medical Education Department, and is a member of the Integrative Medicine Committee, the Birth Committee, and is the gynecologic surgical subchair.
Dr. Segil resides In Dover with his wife and three children. He enjoys sailing and skiing with his family.
